Dr. Philipp Schurig is working for Pfeiffer Vacuum as a Market Manager Industrial Leak Testing. Within this position he is helping his customers from the automotive industry, including Hydrogen economy, to successfully solve their demanding leak detection challenges. Based on his expertise, he is the project leader for all leak detection related topics in a publicly funded collaborative project aimed at industrial scale-up of bipolar plate production. With his deep technical & economical understanding, where he also benefits from his education (Dr. Rer. Nat. in Nature Science & M.B.A.), he can support his customers in achieving the targeted cycle time and reaching the desired quality level by choosing the right leak detection method (air vs. tracer gas) at its best.
