Mortimer Glinz, CEO of Schmidt Kranz Group, represents the 4th generation of the family business from Velbert-Langenberg. Today, the group of companies focuses on hydrogen solutions, high-pressure technology, automation, mining and raw materials processing. His passion for mining technology and vehicles, combined with his strategic business insight, characterizes his ability to successfully develop medium-sized companies in all phases of their growth. After working for a public limited company specializing in restructuring, the mechanical engineering graduate initially took on various operational management positions at subsidiaries of the SK Group. Since 2016, he has been a managing partner of Schmidt, Kranz & Co. GmbH and, as CEO, is now driving forward the energy transition with hydrogen applications (refueling stations and test benches) and generation (electrolysis). The group's current projects include the expansion of the H2 refueling station infrastructure and the production of electrolyzers, such as for railroad projects.
