Karin Debacher
Head of Hydrogen Projects,
Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG
Karin Debacher is the head of hydrogen projects at HHLA and is responsible for the HHLA hydrogen strategy including application projects to decarbonize HHLA’s operations as well as projects regarding the import and transport of hydrogen.
She has a Master Degree in Economics and started out as a transport economist at HHLA subsidiary Hamburg Port Consulting in 2015 where she consulted companies and international institutions with regards to port and logistics projects. Prior to taking over the responsibilities for the hydrogen projects she worked as a Project Manager for executive board projects at HHLA.
