Dr. Joachim von Schnitzler holds the position as Projects Director at Fichtner GmbH and is
leading the Fichtner branch in Hamburg as Branch Manager.
Dr.-Ing. Joachim von Schnitzler has a doctoral degree in chemical engineering. He has a track record of about 30 years of professional experience in the oil & gas sector. This includes experiences in process engineering and the design of process plants for natural gas infrastructure, such as gas, LNG terminals as well as Ammonia terminals, and underground storage facilities. He contributed his knowhow to the sectors of hydrogen, decarbonization, power-to-X and e-fuels. Joachim von Schnitzler was in the position of Head of Project Management and as Head of Business Development for projects in Europe and the international oil & gas sector. At Fichtner, he is Projects Director for the Future Fuel & gas department and leads the Fichtner branch in Hamburg. With his team of experts, he is using the oil & gas experience to drive the transition of the Energy Market to a carbon neutral future.
