Dennis Rendschmidt

VDMA POWER SYSTEMS
Since 2021, Dr Dennis Rendschmidt is Managing Director of VDMA Power Systems. The association is part of the German Engineering Federation VDMA. It represents the interests of manufacturers of wind energy and hydropower plants, fuel cells, thermal plants and storage systems in Germany and abroad. For all of them, VDMA Power Systems serves as an information and communication platform for all industry topics such as energy policy, legislation, market analyses, trade fairs, standardisation and press and public relations.
After working as a consultant with A.T. Kearney, Dennis was deputy head of the Energy and Climate Policy Department at BDI (Federal Association of German Industries). After that, he was then responsible for the policy, press and communications department at DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). He holds a Ph.D. in economics.
