Daniel Wenk originally began his career as electrician, followed by a degree in engineering. A post-graduate degree in economics as well as other management courses complete his education profile. Until today, Mr. Wenk has dedicated his entire career to advanced joining technology in the automotive industry, starting with the design of control systems for resistance welding machines, managing project- and process for laser welding systems, consulting and sales of complex and highly productive laser welding systems for demanding customers in the automotive industry. Due to his profound knowledge in the field of laser welding and the challenges in high volume production (upstream and downstream processes), and also his network that has grown over decades, he is an asked competence in this field. Daniel Wenk joined ANDRITZ Soutec in Switzerland in 1998, where he holds the position of Vice President Business Development and has been a member of the company management since 2011.
