A collaboration between Endress+Hauser and Mangrove Systems will focus on measurement and monitoring
A new and excellent collaboration has been set up between Endress+Hauser and Mangrove Systems and this has been done with the intention of developing both the measurement and monitoring capabilities of carbon dioxide removal (CDR). This effort will also go towards developing and advancing various CCS value chains.
The first step within this innovative plan is to work on integrating Endress+Hauser’s instrumentation with Mangrove Systems’ leading digital MRV solution, which is called Mangrove Nexus. The point of this is to deliver complete accuracy, reliability and finally, traceability within carbon management.
Endress+Hauser is a company which is well-known for its comprehensive process solution, as well as measurement technologies in flow, pressure, level, temperature and analysis. Due to these skills, this company’s role in the project will be to provide the equipment which is necessary to achieve precise measurement and monitoring of CO2. So far, this company has over seventy years of experience when it comes to optimising industrial processes, such as economic efficiency, safety and environmental protection. The company’s innovative measurement technologies have the ability to provide the reliability and accuracy which is required to sustain the precise tracking that is required within the carbon dioxide removal and carbon capture and storage value chains.
On the other hand, Mangrove Systems is a leading company when it comes to digital measurement, reporting and verification (dMRV) solutions. The plan for this company’s involvement in the project is to collect data which has been generated from Endress+Hauser’s instrumentation and to the perform the attribution, mass balance accounting and program quantification, streamlining commercialisation through programs which include the 45Q production tax credit, low carbon fuel standards and finally, the voluntary carbon market.
The intention behind all of this is that through integrating Endress+Hauser’s advanced instrumentation with Mangrove Nexus’s digital MRV capabilities, the result of this will be that all carbon project developers will benefit from streamlined carbon data management implementations. This will be made possible through the collection and measurement of data, all the way through to downstream environmental attribute monetization.
Natural Gas and LNG Industry Marketing Manager at Endress+Hauser, Cesar Martinez, commented, “Our collaboration with Mangrove Systems signifies a major advancement in the precision and accuracy of carbon measurement and monitoring. By combining our expertise in instrumentation with Mangrove’s digital MRV capabilities, we are paving the way for more effective management of data from carbon value chains.”
CEO of Mangrove Systems, Brandon Vlaar, mentioned, “Endress+Hauser’s expertise in measurement technology complements our digital MRV capabilities, enabling us to offer a comprehensive solution for carbon project developers. Together, we are driving innovation in carbon management and setting new benchmarks for accuracy and transparency in the industry.”
