The State Energy Agency of Hessen (LEA Hessen) is the
state’s central point of contact for all issues relating to the
energy transition and climate protection. It offers support
from a single source by bundling different areas of
responsibility and at the same time creating synergies, for
example on issues relating to energy generation, energy
efficiency, electromobility or hydrogen.
LEA Hessen provides information, advice and coordination
as a reliable partner when it comes to involving third
parties. The services offered are aimed at
Hessian citizens, municipalities, companies, and social institutions.
In the field of hydrogen and fuel cells, these tasks
are performed by the team of the “Landesstelle Wasserstoff”
(State Office for Hydrogen).
LEA Hessen is a subsidiary of HA Hessen Agentur GmbH
– the state’s service agency and business development
agency. HA carries out projects, campaigns and funding
measures and also acts as a consultant and think tank.
