The three Hydrogen Flagship Projects H₂Giga, H₂Mare and TransHyDE are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Together, the contribute to achieve the goals of the German National Hydrogen Strategy. The Flagship Project H₂Giga focuses on the series production of large-scale electrolysers. The Flagship Hydrogen Project H₂Mare is researching the generation of green hydrogen and other power-to-X products at sea. TransHyDE explores storage and transport options for hydrogen.
