Heavy duty fuel cell systems enable highly efficient and emission-free drives for heavy-duty long-distance transportation. Compared to other drive systems, fuel cell systems are lighter, allow a high payload, enable a longer range as well as rapid refilling and do produce zero emissions!

cellcentric’s fuel cell systems matured over 30 years and are based on extensive practical experience. Daimler Truck AG and Volvo Group - the 50:50 shareholders in cellcentric - integrate cellcentric fuel cells into their trucks. As a result, on-road testing provides valuable insights into performance and further development. An impressive result is the #HydrogenRecordRun a hydrogen fuel cell truck powered by cellcentric demonstrates a range of more than 1,000 km.

Additional interesting areas of application are already in focus – including, among others, stationary applications, railway, other havy duty applications, construction and agricultural machinery. Next step will be the scaling to a high-volume fuel cell production in cellcentric’s 1st all under one roof factory in Esslingen (Germany). At the same time advanced engineering activities at cellcentric provide the basis for game changing further product improvements in future projects.
