Panel Discussion: A focus on ports and their industrial hinterland to kick-start green fuels uptake

23 Oct 2024
Hydrogen Production

Hydrogen and other green fuels are struggling to make a start. A focus on ports and their industrial hinterland would be the best way to kick-start the uptake of green hydrogen and other green fuels. Promising off takers are oil refineries and fertiliser manufactures, who without significant investment can’t replace their grey hydrogen and ammonia with the green equivalents. This panel discussion will set out the opportunities for these fuels in Northwestern European ports, explaining how various factors make these locations optimal starting points.
