The port of Amsterdam is the 4th port of Europe and a major global fuel hub. This position comes with a responsibility; we aspire to be a frontrunner in the transition towards sustainable products and low carbon emissions. In the port are multiple biogenic CO2-emmiters with a significant total volume - a potentially valuable feedstock. The Port aims to find the right balance between multiple routes for CO2-reduction: CCS, CCU and potentially DAC in the future.
